About Lindsey

Bio

First picking up the guitar at 21 years old, Lindsey received his music degree at the
University of Texas-Arlington three and a half years later. Awards: Dean’s List, Music scholarship, 1st chair guitarist Jazz Orchestra & traveling band.

In 1987, graduated with honors from the Musicians Institute/Hollywood, CA at age 27.

His experience has spanned the range and geography of musical genre:

  • Relocating to NYC following graduation from Musicians Institute and becoming a part of the pivotal Lower Eastside hardcore-metal scene of the late ’80’s along with such artists as White Zombie, Prong, Helmet, Roni Evanega.
  • Profile Records – 1992 Houston, Tx. 1st pro recording date.
    Recording sideman session for legendary Rap Label (Run DMC, Russell Simmons, Tone Loc) & hardcore female Rap artists – Bitch & Fatal T.
    The first wave of rap records to incorporate heavy metal guitar. Studio included such acts as the Geto Boys.
  • Gibson Brands/Les Paul – awarded the coveted Gibson endorsement. Now part of the Gibson guitar family & supported by Gibson Brands. 2013.
  • Billboard Magazine – recognized artist. 2008-2012.
